July 8th, according to Coindesk, Eric Trump, the son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is set to speak at the BTC Asia conference scheduled to take place in Hong Kong in August this year, continuing the Trump family's active presence in the cryptocurrency conference space. Hong Kong is advancing multiple pieces of cryptocurrency-friendly legislation through its Legislative Council. Even before the United States passed the GENIUS Act, Hong Kong had introduced local stablecoin legislation.

Earlier this year, Eric Trump gave a speech at the Consensus conference in Toronto, praising Bitcoin's liquidity, considering it superior to real estate, and referring to it as "digital gold." He also expressed support for the crypto community, claiming that the same group of people who suppressed the cryptocurrency industry during the Biden administration had also targeted his father, Donald Trump.
