On July 13 (UTC+8), according to a post forwarded by 23pds, Chief Information Security Officer of SlowMist, on X platform user @Miles082510's post, developer @web3_cryptoguy disguised himself as a Web3 tool author, and the script tools he provided are suspected of scanning local sensitive files in the background, intending to steal private keys, wallet files, configuration files, code, mnemonic words and other key data. This data will be secretly uploaded to an anonymous server, and users will hardly notice the whole process. Users are reminded to avoid using script tools from unknown sources.
