Gert Dekegel is the Global Head of Enterprise Risk at OKX, having previously held the Head of Enterprise Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Risk Reporting positions at BlockFi from April 2021 to March 2024, alongside a role as Director of Risk. Prior experience includes consulting in Risk & Compliance Management at McKinsey & Company. Gert Dekegel holds a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MBA from Vlerick Business School, and a BA and MS in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
