Sometimes I feel like the Discord trackers are fuzzy mirrors of a room full of people, mirroring each other's excitement to make each other feel good. That's great! Everyone's excited about a shiny new coin that just came out! But the mirror is cracked and warped on the edges, and the center just shows a cartoon character giving the thumbs up. But hey...everyone in the room is smiling and looking and cheering as long as the mirror is doing its job of making them feel good. They'll look good in selfies and group pics too...but do you look good in day to day life? Do you look like a reflective, dazed smile? Or are you out in the world doing things that matter to you? Do you have people in your life who matter to you? Are you working hard and doing good work? Life is so much bigger than what makes one person feel good or bad in the moment. Be cool with your choice and don't feel pressured one way or the other by whatever cool or incomprehensible image it casts - just live true to you, outside that room.
